My poor art teacher bought at least half if not more of her supplies when I went to school. It was BS she had to do that. They in fact are not unfortunately. Your statement SHOULD be true, but even back in 2007 we were asked to buy art supplies for an art class. The school didn’t budget shit, and once that teacher retired they shut down the Sarcoidosis Awareness I Wear Purple For My Sister Rainbow T-Shirt besides I will buy this program. I pay a ton out of my own pocket. For many years we had no classroom money. One year we had $50. This year we got $200! I get super frustrated that teachers don’t get the reduced price of $69 Amazon prime yearly my fee like EBT and college students do. Lol, no. Teachers are provided with the bare minimum. Most spend a small fortune on supplies for their classroom each year.

It was a lot fun and I feel bad that they don’t allow it It was $3 to buy the painting the first grader did with the A. Which upset me even more that it’s an awesome damn painting, got it hanging in our kitchen My school did an auction type showcase for student art pieces. But it was totally optional and the money was given to the students. Students even set the prices. What your kids’ school is doing is fucked up.
