Gal that used to work for me is a big football fan. We live in Kansas. She, however, is a Broncos fan. Chiefs went to the Santa Only Rides Bikes Reindeers Are Too Slow Motorcycle Bikers Christmas T-Shirt In addition,I will do this Super Bowl and her son’s school had the same thing -ish. Their day was celebrate the Super Bowl day. She didn’t have any Chiefs color clothes (and likely wouldn’t have had him wear them even if she did) so he went to school wearing his favorite Broncos sweatshirt. They called her to come bring him his normal school uniform clothes because wearing a Broncos shirt when they weren’t in the Super Bowl wasn’t considered “appropriate.” We did this today at our school. The dress code is a uniform. Khakis/skirt, polo/button down in school color/pattern. We had a fundraiser for veterans day today. You can pay $1 to dress down. Jeans/sweats/leggings of your choice, red/white/blue encouraged. You can also wear the regular uniform for no cost. (I had a girl in my homeroom do that today.) The money went to some veterans organization. Other times, the dress down money goes to charity, scholarship fund, etc.

I can sort of understand it, as it looks like the Santa Only Rides Bikes Reindeers Are Too Slow Motorcycle Bikers Christmas T-Shirt In addition,I will do this artwork of painted on fairly expensive canvas paper. It looks like they’re still keeping the board too, which seems to be quite pricy. That and the acrylic paint I’d say it’s an art teacher with little budget that really wants to do this project in particular for whatever reason and needs funding for the next year to buy these supplies, otherwise they’d clean the acrylic paint off of the canvas and reuse that at least. That being said, I’m both surprised they’re entrusting kindergartners of all aged with such expensive materials. This feels like something they’d wait until 5-8th grade for. (And that the teacher shouldn’t have to force parents to pay for their kids artwork and should have enough money to do such a thing, since this would’ve been fun as fuck to do in elementary)
