I’ve been in that exact scenario multiple times. I took the Santa Snoopy Ho ho ho Merry Christmas 2023 Shirt In addition,I will do this job at least 2 times that I can remember. In both cases, my hunches were correct and those managers were absolute nightmares. But those jobs were still great stepping stones and it taught me how to deal with people like that. So I don’t regret it. But I wouldn’t regret your choice either though. You have your whole life to find more bad managers lol. They’re in great supply. You held to your own principles / self respect. You should be proud of yourself for that. Take this as a learning experience though and next job offer like this, weigh the risk of being regretful again. It’s easy to second guess yourself, but there’s a reason I insist on meeting my manager before I start a job — in both instances that the manager was “obscured” from the process (I didn’t meet them, or I wasn’t told they would be my manager) they were just ridiculously terrible people to work for. In both instances, I like the actual work, but working for people you don’t like is a sure path to really dreading life. Completely depends on your situation if you made the right decision. Are you regularly getting interviews and making it far in the rounds? Was this your first hit in months? Are you in a bad spot financially?

Not dealing with a potentially rude boss is great, but if that comes at the Santa Snoopy Ho ho ho Merry Christmas 2023 Shirt In addition,I will do this cost of supporting your family, it may be questionable. Of course, this depends how long you’ve been in your job search. I’m relatively early in my current job search, so I’m more willing to tell the “bad” jobs to take a hike at the moment while I look for something better. Not only did you make the right choice for YOU, you helped other workers by showing this manager that you won’t tolerate his behavior and he lost talent because of it. If they follow up, mention that. Please also submit a glass door review. I declined an interview today because they hiring manager want to do it virtual ! And I’m not freaking regretting it Interviewing’s a two way street. There’s a balance for sure, and a person can come across as smarmy and unhireable if they make clear their entire attitude is ‘tell me why I should deign to work here’, but the same attitude is just as wrong in the other direction.
