One-shoting little acid-spitting motherfuckers with anti-tank rifle and yeeting them across the Santa Hat Tompeter Spiderman shirt moreover I love this screen in the process was just chef’s kiss. Can’t even believe it had the name Dino Crisis. Yeah, Resident Evil took a hard right turn with 7, but DC wasn’t there yet at all. That game had great mechanics which didnt fit the franchise, would have been better for a spin off game where u play hunk. Dino Crisis 2 was perfect. They realized after 3 that they got it right on 2 and should’ve left it alone after that. It’s not a popular enough series to gamble on. Odds are they’d spend a lot of money for a niche / cult following with little mainstream appeal that loses them money. Capcom didn’t make PE, but still it’s sad that these companies done these game series dirty. Dino Crisis 3 and 3rd Birthday SE got problem with “Parasite Eve” IP. That’s why the third game had Aya but no Parasite Eve in its name. And very likely no remake or remaster, sadly. I don’t remember the year exactly, but I remember buying Dino Crisis, Parasite Eve, and Parasite Eve II from Hollywood Videos when they had that promotion whereas you get a console for free if you buy $50 worth of game. I think it was only used games, too. Ended up buying those three games and got a free PS1. All 3 games didn’t work and were too scratched.

Imo, the Santa Hat Tompeter Spiderman shirt moreover I love this franchise was too ahead of it’s time, mechanically. Capcom could easily blow everyone away with a modern interpretation of this formula thanks to their work with the Monster Hunter franchise, but wallowing in the original Resident Evil formula killed it. Tbh we don’t really have any good Dino games recently. There’s been a couple decent ones but mostly we don’t have that genre at all anymore it seems. I don’t really consider that the same kind of thing. Yes it’s a game with dinosaurs in it. That’s just not what I meant. We also have second extinction and Jurassic park evolution. None of them have the same feel as Dino crisis. Only closest thing we have is Turok but even that hasn’t been around I don’t think. Believe me when I say that being dismounted by a microraptor in the middle of redwoods is way more scarier than anything RE has to offer…
