Similar to this, I was once on a quiet bus and the Santa Grinch they hate us because they ain’t us Buffalo Bills christmas shirt also I will do this driver stopped and said he was just going to grab “his sandwiches off the Mrs” and he got off and knocked on a door (presumably his) and came back with a foil wrapped package and a packet of crisps. Middle of the country, I’d caught the bus outside of the house I’d been working at. It was half full, and an elderly lady struck up a conversation on the way to the next town, telling me she and the driver she was recently widowed and it was her first Christmas alone. It was heavy snowfall and as we approached a large housing estate, she called for her stop. The driver left the main road and drove off route for fifteen mins, with this huge bus going around all the little side roads and parked cars, until he dropped this lady at her door. Nobody minded at all.

I was about 21 and was getting the Santa Grinch they hate us because they ain’t us Buffalo Bills christmas shirt also I will do this bus into Plymouth one evening for a night out. I was the last one left on the bus, the driver asked where i was going and dropped me right outside the pub so i didnt have to walk on my own Me and my ex-gf were on a bus in Manchester a few years ago and got screamed at by a homeless woman for about 10 minutes who paused only to take deep huffs from the cans of lighter gas she had concealed up each sleeve of her jacket. We got off at the next stop. I once had a monumental hangover and was on the bus to work at 7am. There was a pissed woman singing ‘Paradise City’ out loud, but she didn’t know the words, so it was just the chorus over and over. As it was London, no one said a word, but after 15 minutes I had a meltdown and started screaming at this woman to shut the fuck up. The bus went silent and she started crying, saying she was only trying to spread some morning joy. I’d like to say I felt bad, but I didn’t. There’s no place for singing on buses at 7am, especially from an old crone swigging from a bottle of white cider.
