I got really comfortable with it over the Sam Howell Hive Est 2023 Shirt and I love this pandemic. I wasn’t leaving the house, I wasn’t going to waste money on makeup products. I started tweaking my skincare, and I went from uncomfortable with my natural appearance to loving my natural appearance. I have not yet gone foundation-free after a makeup history that mirrors yours, but I’ve switched to wearing some combo of tinted SPF (Bare Minerals or Tower28), redness-correcting tint (Hero Rescue Balm), and/or powder. I’m not yet confident without these, since I have tons of scarring and hyperpigmentation, but they feel better than the full-coverage foundation, concealer, and powder I wore every day, for decades–like, since grade school, and I’m now in my 40s!

Sam Howell Hive Est 2023 Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

In the Sam Howell Hive Est 2023 Shirt and I love this meantime, I try to work on my skincare and take comfort in being able to hide occasional breakouts under a mask. Baby steps toward hopefully going totally bare-faced eventually. I’m with you age wise! B6 serum has been my bff and believe it or not, $1 charcoal face Wash from the Dollar Tree. Ok and avoiding as many of my food allergens as possible. I cheat a little since they won’t send me into anaphylactic shock lol. Yep. Skincare will boost your confidence. Stay hydrated & moisturized. Find a routine you will commit to. Me? More than 2 steps & I’m out! Have you considered tinted moisturizer or a CC or BB creme? Good luck. Confidence is key. And you are the only you the world has. Knock ’em dead, dear one!I slowly started using less and less makeup until one day I tried my routine without foundation and found that it holds up even better than when I use it!
