whenever i don’t wear make-up to work people tell me i look sick. like genuinely unwell. i’ve only worn makeup sinc Same with me, but I was going through some stuff in my personal life and would just tell them “nope, this is my face without make-up”. Same with weight fluctuations.. “not pregnant, just fat. Have been eating crap everyday”. Did I feel shitty they made a remark and touched on my insecurities? Of course. I’d feel shitty for 3 days some times. But I am allowed to exist in my natural untouched self and be loved and respected for who I am and not what I look like. So I stuck to my guns and took a stand, for me. good for you i’m glad! i don’t even know why it’s accepted as a society to just be like “are you sick? you look like shit”. in what world is it ok to ask somebody something personal and then absolutely shit on their appearance. i’ve never done it and i never will, i just think it’s a rude ass thing to say to anybody tbh Jesus Christ I wish I had your priorities. I would be late to class or miss it over going bare faced. I literally had the Rimworld Game Characters shirt Additionally,I will love this nickname “late girl”. I will still be late to work over going in without minimal makeup. Pandemic masking helped but now that that’s gone I’m SOL because genetics mean I still break out in my 30s.

Rimworld Game Characters shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Like you I have been a foundation wearing gal since middle school. Covid really helped me break the Rimworld Game Characters shirt Additionally,I will love this habit. Suddenly I was wearing a mask covering 1/2 my face everywhere for a year and a half and just felt like what’s the point? And you know what, no one cared, no one noticed. Since then if I’m running a quick errand like grocery store or pharmacy I still don’t do anything. I feel free not carrying what anyone thinks about how my face looks, because they don’t. I couldn’t tell you what the face of anyone I saw at Costco or target looked like today when I went there. No one is really that focused on looking at judging random strangers faces. Maybe you could start by sheering out your foundation. Also try sheer foundations/ bb / cc creams / tinted sunscreens to get yourself used to looking at bare skin.
