I stay at home, save my money, get completely stoned, and eat dinner, and snacks with homies. TVs are huge these days, and look fucking great. I spent all this money on my stuff for my home, and I’ve learned to enjoy it. I don’t need the Resident Biden Premium T-Shirt and I will buy this theater anymore. And, unless they do some shit to get patrons back, because movies are getting stale AF, that’s a them problem. I save so much money watching movies at home, and I can pause that shit when I have to go to the bathroom. Meanwhile, recent initiatives include: four rounds of NFT giveaways, three linked to big films, with plans to start charging for them and taking commissions for sales on secondary markets; accepting payment in crypto; launching a retail popcorn selling blitz; and moving into merchandise. Coming this weekend — a six-inch tall Batman-head popcorn holder.

Seriously, what is all this shit? Play the Resident Biden Premium T-Shirt and I will buy this movies I want to see, and provide a quality experience with clean theaters and good service. They’re trying to wow you with useless trinkets and bullshit so you pay $85 for 2 tickets, 2 popcorns and 2 drinks when you go out for movie night. If I’m paying a decent amount of movie to watch something outside of my home, then it better be fucking silent. Every time I hear people complain about the theater experience it makes me super grateful to live in Austin where I have two Alamos right next to me. They apparently have forgotten that many of us are already reluctant to go in a theater. Why not discourage us even more! I went to buy tickets for this movie at the local AMC and they were $20 each. Simply, they lost my business on this one. How can they think this is a good idea. The pandemic has shown people why they don’t need to watch movies in the movie theaters. AMC decided to remind people why they should stop watching movies in movie theaters. Let’s say I want to go see this movie. Do I pay the normal rate (or doubtfully, the slightly less rate) knowing I’m getting the absolute worse seat. Do I pay more for a better seat, or more for the best seat. Or do I look at the price and realize I could buy the VOD that comes out in a couple weeks for a fraction of the price of two tickets (I live in California so some theaters it’s less than the price of ONE ticket, cineopolis!)
