Yes, her meltdown was fake. The original extermination that episode was putting the Reggie Jackson American professional basketball player for the Denver Nuggets T-Shirt moreover I love this monsters in a pillory and being pelted with vegetables, but Hollow (rightfully) raised issue with that because they thought it was problematic to put a black person (Maxi) in shackles and in the pillory, so Maddelyn took the fall for production and had a fake meltdown to get them out of having to do the original extermination. This was spilled I believe on one of Hollow or Maxi’s lives and reported on this sub. Nooooo! How would they have known what the extermination was going to be, though? And Dollya with the “save,” and all of production in on it too? I can imagine production changing what the extermination was once the competitors were presented with it, just not that Dollya didn’t actually save herself from being up for extermination beforehand (her look really WAS giving Game of Thrones Whitewalker, not D&D). Maddelyn’s meltdown was because she felt she shouldn’t be up for extermination at all, wasn’t it? She was so angry she was physically shaking when they announced it. Plus the production people were acting, too? Or am I misunderstanding and what you mean is that Maddelynn had the meltdown to throw off production? That would’ve meant she would known she was up for extermination beforehand, as well as what the extermination challenge itself was – right? I just find it hard to believe that the bottom two would know before the scene even started filming. Whatever the case, it really was the most quoted meltdown of the season. No doubt about that!

Yes, from what I remember production was in on it too. They decided to make a reality TV instead of going through with the Reggie Jackson American professional basketball player for the Denver Nuggets T-Shirt moreover I love this original extermination challenge. yes the only time it got uncomfortable to me was the ganging up on Sigourney, but i heavily enjoyed the ghost ship cauldron where everyone was going off, top 5 episodes of any reality show for me Honestly, there’s a lot of misogyny in some of these “drama” threads in the show and they literally ruin whole monsters for me. I’m at the point in my life where the drama just annoys me for the most part. Some of it is fun, like that cauldron from S4, but otherwise I don’t care I’m glad it’s easing up a bit, this series has been tofu while titans and s4 was nothing but people having beef with each other. I like the stupid, low stakes drama that comes with reality TV, but it can be hit or miss in terms of entertainment. I’ve been enjoying what we’ve seen so far this season, the cast is funny and charismatic and they bounce off of each other pretty well. Season 4 was less enjoyable imho, although it still had some memorable moments. It’s reality TV so I think it kind of has to be to try to go mainstream. I think I like the organic drama better than manufactured though. Maddelyn is by far one of my favorites for drama that was just right.
