Ya I voted for him twice (and will again) and ofc he gets special treatment, just like Nixon got special treatment, just like Bill Clinton got special treatment, just like George Bush Jr. got special treatment, and I’m sure plenty of other former Presidents and high-ranking government officials got special treatment over the Reel Cool Grandpa Fishing Vintage T-Shirt but in fact I love this years. It’s no surprise that a man who once held the most powerful political office on Earth and who is probably the most recognizable person alive today would get some special treatment. Though quite frankly as a Trump supporter, I wish he didn’t. Getting a mugshot would probably help his cause and motivate his supporters even more. People commit felonies and get released with an appearance ticket without sitting a minute behind bars all the time in states like NY. I live here. The most fucked up thing about this is there was a guy in my city last year who was arrested for beating his wife nearly to death and was released w/ an appearance ticket. This lady posted on facebook a video of it and begged for help and said it was a daily thing.

The next day he went to find her waiting for their kids at the Reel Cool Grandpa Fishing Vintage T-Shirt but in fact I love this bus stop, and shot her in the head as the bus was pulling up and the kids saw it. Yes but at the same time I feel like he’d capitalize on having mug shots. He’s gotten back so many of his supporters over this Honestly this how it should until you are found guilty. It’s unfortunate that this looks like special treatment because it is. But this should be the standard operating procedure. Fuck, I got a mug shot for drunk in public years ago, I wasn’t arrested… Just thrown in the drunk tank for a few hours. Yet you can still pull me up on mugshot sites. This is fucking bullshit. Wish I had turned over state secrets for cash now. The judge here is probably going to try his best not to hand Trump any easy arguments. A mugshot would be fun, but probably also would instantly become the most widely circulated photo in the world. It would certainly be a difficult photo to avoid, and Team Trump would almost definitely argue that it could prejudice a jury. Yep, on the rare occasion that the wealthy fuck up so bad that they have to be punished, the red carpet is rolled out for them and they get special punishments. Reminds me of that clip on reddit I saw a few days ago of a 6-year-old girl being handcuffed at school and escorted out into a police car. I’m actually pretty glad they’re doing it this way. My MAGA dad (who gets 99% of his takes from fox news) is calling this a smear campaign, so it kind of shuts down that rhetoric when they’re not making a spectacle out of it.
