Go ahead and indict Obama, by all means. Gonna have to indict trump for that too since he ordered more drone strikes in his sad four years, than Obama did in eight. Edit: I feel I must clarify that I mean THIS is actually political… I’m pretty sure if us peons committed one of these crimes, we’d be handcuffed and mugshots galore. Yes, but…this is special treatment Trump doesn’t want. He wants the Pumpkin Spice Reproductive Rights Pumpkins Skeleton Halloween T-Shirt Besides,I will do this perp walk, mugshot, and to be a living martyr for the GOP — an image for some people to rally around. By denying him those things, they’re pulling the fangs he imagines he has (and which all too many of his waning base would still grant him). He was the president lol even how he came to turn himself is different from how a normal person would. Lol normal people don’t get secret service escort or roads shut down. Sadly he will get special treatment because of his status. If avoiding the shame was the cost of surrendering, fine. A conviction will do far more damage on next years election trail than a mugshot. Yeah, but I’m good with it for the simple fact it saves us all the grief of any of that being used by him and his supporters as propaganda It’s probably a good idea. Giving the man a mugshot will give his base an idol. They will hang that shit up in there truck next to the truck nuts. We don’t need to give them symbolism

Unfortunately it’s one of those things that the Pumpkin Spice Reproductive Rights Pumpkins Skeleton Halloween T-Shirt Besides,I will do this right will use as a way to say there’s a witch hunt on Trump. MTG even said that all the democrats want is his mugshot to use against him. Maybe by not taking a mugshot there’s a strategy behind that who knows… this indictment though is unfortunately making a bunch of people unite behind him once again.. I am fine with no handcuff as I think it could help him in the end but the rest is ridiculous special treatment Good. I despise Trump but this is a horrible look for our country and sets a horrible precedent for the future. Yup. If it was any one us of non-billionaires looking at 30+ felony charges we probably would be held without bail. He was literally the president of the United States. I’m not a fan, but a little special treatment is in order whatever you think. Sort of. His campaign team wants him to be photographed in handcuffs and have a mugshot so they can use it during the election. They’ve telegraphed all of this Denying him that gives them less ammo. It’s definitely special treatment, and definitely political, but maybe not for the exact reasons people think. It’s abundantly clear the DA wasn’t itching to bring charges and two prosecutors in his office resigned over his refusal to do so. But Trump’s narrative is that Bragg illegally rushed to bring a case based on a mere misdemeanor.
