There was so much complaining in here by door dash drivers, I deleted my app and have no plans to ever use the Real women love football smart women love the Steelers shirt But I will love this service again. If UBEREATS gets slower, I will delete that app also. We had a dasher at my restaurant pick up an order 45 minutes late and then as soon as they got to their car they cancelled the pickup and just took the food for themselves. It was two large pizzas and fifty wings. I’m the beginning Ebay was the best. Not anymore. All good things get tweaked and pilfered till there is nothing left. It was a novelty in the beginning. The one time I used doordash, my dasher just handed my food to a random guy outside my apartment building. Didn’t bother to check or simply didn’t care who it was. That’s all.

I don’t think it’s changed. I worked in restaurants for 5 years, and can remember having to deal with mouth breathing drivers 6 years ago. We had to call support multiple times to tell them not to serve certain drivers again after them acting aggressive and threatening toward 16 year old hostesses when there was a delay. There’s no interview to show you can handle normal human interaction, so some people who would bomb every other job interview get to work as dashers. We’re had a few dashers who were regulars that were super cool, but as a whole, we dreaded having to interact with them. Honestly, their have always been dashers who do these things… I think it’s more prevalent now because those kinda mindsets can be infectious like disease
