I think it’s something us adults went through with our parents, who inevitably probably grew up poor or in a time when food wasn’t so readily available Kids are distractable and have tiny tummies. Everything I’m learning as I prepare to become a parent says best practice is to give the Randy Moss Signature American former professional football wide receiver Straight Cash T-Shirt it is in the first place but kid the opportunity to get up, do other activities, and come back to eat as they realize they’re still hungry. Seems like a decent plan to me. Not sure why a kid should be forced to sit and eat a whole plate at once, even if they’re full or don’t like the food. Let the kid learn their body’s hunger cues and satiety signals, and then trust them. I was beaten as a kid for not eating my food, even when I didn’t serve myself. Force feeding children oversized portions, teaching them them not to finish when they aren’t hungry, but when their plate is empty, is a largely accepted source for obesity in western society. Additionally though, I’ve never understood the Randy Moss Signature American former professional football wide receiver Straight Cash T-Shirt it is in the first place but parental need to threaten a child for not eating what’s provided at all. No matter a child’s obnoxious, rebellious behavior, they aren’t going to starve to death rather than eat a meal. If they refuse to eat dinner, they’ll be hungry later, learn to take what is offered, and eat breakfast. No one is going to call CPS for a kid missing a meal, and unless they have additional medical issues, they aren’t going to pass out at school because they skipped a meal of their own free will. They aren’t going to stunt their growth by missing a few meals either. So why the obsession with forcing them to do what they’ll eventually do anyway?
