I used to set special ringtones, but on most of my smartphones, every time they get an update, it resets my ringtone. So I gave up. I think it’s about time we stop using ringtones. It’s annoying everyone, when we can just get them to vibrate, or use a smart watch to get a small nudge. My ringtone is the Randy Arozarena Signature Tampa Bay Rays T-Shirt in other words I will buy this Pirates of Caribbean theme. I use the phone for my business so when I’m home, I have it on. I turn it to silent when I go out. The iPhone killed the custom ringtone. You used to be able to just download a short sound bite and make it a ringtone. The iPhone, it’s nearly impossible to load a custom ringtone onto your phone. For me, since you had to pay for a ringtone. I enjoyed it but not enough to pay 99p for it and I’m far too old to be doing the download to mp3 thing now I got the looping radio song from portal as my ringtone shortly after the game came out. I haven’t changed it since. I’m 21. I don’t even know how to change my ringtone to something other than the dozen or so pre-installed sounds. The last time I had a cool ringtone was on my non-flip TracFone in 4th grade. My parents set it up for me. On another note, I am conditioned to become irrationally angry when I hear that damn alarm song. I thought it was nice and relaxing at first but man, I really want to throw the phone when I hear it now. My phones have been on silent mode since 11 years ago when I had my son and my first corporate job. I don’t know the ringtone of my phones. I would have to Wikihow “change ringtone in your phone” if I would ever turn on the ringtone mode.
