I mean your in the Rajon Rondo T-Shirt and by the same token and system in many states now beacsue they wanted demographic information. I’ll use Colorado, reform bill states that even for simple stops like “hey turn your head lights on” officers have to get your demographics, so many departments just issue warnings now where it used to be a business card and have a nice day. Also you’re on camera with the bwc anyways so your face is associated with the incident you were contacted for. It’s not a straight up scan of your face but isn’t far off. Nowadays people’s only hope to catch crooks with badges is to turn on their phone and hit record. If they want to scan faces, their faces can say hi to social media. Semi-serious question: Could you just make ugly faces at the camera? Would sufficiently distorting your face prevent facial recognition? I’ve got kids, and can make some pretty weird faces…

Rajon Rondo T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Depends on the Rajon Rondo T-Shirt and by the same token and software, but probably not. The software is designed to work despite the current facial expression, or even glasses. If you have an IPhone just hold the volume up and the power button till it gives you the option to restart ignore it and lock you phone it’ll ask for your passcode to enable Face ID again I don’t know about androids tho Odds are that you’re already on camera during the traffic stop. And as body camera’s become even more prevalent this will only increase. And most people are screaming for cops to have more body cameras and record more often. Moreover, the article specifically mentions the traffic stop images being compared with SOCIAL MEDIA photos that people are posting and letting the world see. Sure they’ll also use mug shots and even DMV photos – but they already have these.
