Summary1 So you just say you dont give permission but then they cam do it anyways but you might possibly be able to have a case later This is bollocks The myopic nature of police using facial recognition is that not an insignificant number of people could have had their identity stolen BEFORE their face was inputted into the Protect people not guns Gun control Enough is enough Stop end gun violence T-Shirt and by the same token and system meaning the ID thief is now their facial ID meaning the actual person could be considered the ID thief of themselves. Private citizens have the right to privacy and their car is their property so a picture would invade that right! Without reading this, I know the obvious answer is to vomit on yourself and start crying, you become unrecognizable, I know… not from experience.

I feel like we are starting to live in a dystopian society that reflects a sci-fi movie made in the Protect people not guns Gun control Enough is enough Stop end gun violence T-Shirt and by the same token and 1990s…Strange days. Facial recognition seems great on paper. You could catch wanted murderers, rapists, terrorists, etc. You could make sure that pedophiles are not near schools, playgrounds, etc. But it all comes down to how much you trust your government use it correctly. And that’s where I have a problem. Almost everything the government controls…sucks. The last thing I want to do is give them even more control over the people that are supposed to be controlling them. Facial recognition gets it wrong a lot of times. Especially when… sadly… you’re not white. This can lead to the wrong information showing up about a criminal who “looks similar” to the computer, but when inspected by a human is obviously not the same. As we all know, many many police have arrested people who “fit the description,” and then the description is not even close to the person they arrested, and often beat.
