Yeah, I understand that perspective. Frankly, I could have lived with buggy rustic had it not been SWELTERING buggy rustic Yeah Wyndham sucks too so there you go, hosts; a HOTEL CHAIN that sucks almost as much as Airbnb! You may cite me as a source for your future posts about Airbnb vs hotels. lol One thing to note: if you don’t have a charger, you really shouldn’t be leaving 5G turned on. It’s a battery sucker. I have iPhone 14 Pro Max and it still drains my battery. I am so sorry, your story is so frustrating to read. Why can’t they come up with a better system/ help for their users, I do not know… I had a similar situation where a hotel was overbooked once and they sent me another in a nearby city which told me no rooms. Finally the Rafiki and Moody Oh yes the past can hurt shirt in addition I really love this third one had rooms but not as nice. I don’t know how Airbnb can offer a service of rebooking especially on busy weekends when they are not like a hotel and have several hotels in one area with lots of rooms. I feel there should laws against this. I had this happen with rental cars too. Thank goodness no issues with flights like that though. Definitely keep fighting though. Sorry this happened. I wonder if in this situation the best thing to do would be to demand that they let you stay put until they find you a new place. Almost identical thing happened to me, complete with support ghosting me and eventually offering me $30 refund. I had my elderly, frail parents in tow for what was likely their last vacation. Beyond done. Airbnb may block your account afterward, but you would be stupid to give them more business after what happened to you and your family.

Holy cow this is terrible! I had a similar experience that thankfully worked out much better but I wasn’t attempting to work through all of this on only 1 cell phone with 2 cranky kids at 9pm. We had 3 people in our group. On night 2, the Rafiki and Moody Oh yes the past can hurt shirt in addition I really love this Airbnb had a bathroom ceiling leak that I messaged host about ASAP. The next morning the ceiling started falling on the ground. Host was great and offered a full refund. My friend dealt directly with Air bnb, they tried to help us find a new spot but there was nothing in the area that could accommodate 3 people. My friend told them they’d need to help us pay for a hotel room despite it being out of “network”. They gave us a $114 credit to use on Airbnb for the future and refunded us for 30% of the hotel cost.
