I wanted to order directly and pick my food so grabhub does not charge them 30%. I guess it is simper to use grabhub. There was a new tip percentage guide at the front desk, a note on the announcement board to “tip your waxer”, and a note on one of the individual rooms that said “cash tips are appreciated.” I’ve been going there for three years and everyone knows to tip. They discretely ask you if you want to leave a gratuity at checkout. It’s gross, almost applied somewhere advertising a solid wage – only to then dig a bit further to realize that was presuming the customers tended to half my paycheck. It’s ridiculous. Like, what’s next do you want us to start tipping the person behind the counter at the gas station for selling me a bag of chips? Enough already. Stop being GREEDY and pay your employees a god damn livable wage.

I’ve always tried to be a good tipper but this shit has got to stop! Businesses are trying to guilt us into paying their employees. The worst part of it is that if we protest by not tipping the Racing and dogs make me happy humans make my head hurt shirt and I love this only people we hurt are the employees. We must do away with the ridiculous minimum wage for wat staff. We also have to raise the regular minimum wage to MORE than $15 per hour. In the US, if a cashier can get reclassified to a tipped position, the business can evade minimum wage requirements, or else it can use your tips to offset the wages paid by the business. Ah yes, thank you for putting my meal into a plastic container and then into a bag. 20% you say? More than fair I was a waitress at a place that took to-go orders. I was grateful when we got a tip from a to-go order, and I leave tips when I order to-go because I know how it is, but I didn’t expect it. Not tipping for table service or delivery is trashy, but to-go is your call.
