They keep saying I don’t want to pay for anyone else’s healthcare but will pay Billion dollar insurance companies instead. They believe the Proud retired firefighter who would do it all over again shirt but in fact I love this care because it’s ‘socialised’ will be worse but obviously care is better than no care. Millions of Americans aren’t covered , the number one issue for bankruptcy is medical debt so obviously being covered and it being ‘free’ is clearly superior. They believe anything to do with any social programme is bad which equals communism. Just don’t let them know that their school system runs off this exact model They’ve been lied to, the standard talking point is who is going to pay for it ? How can the country afford it ? I.e the opposition just keep saying they want to raise your taxes etc When it’s been shown a million times it would be more cost effective to actually switch to a universal care option.

Proud retired firefighter who would do it all over again shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Americans don’t trust the Proud retired firefighter who would do it all over again shirt but in fact I love this government, introducing universal care would most likely have to be national and most are distrusting of big government. Removing for-profit healthcare (and especially for-profit health insurance) does significant good. However, free healthcare puts the state in a position where it starts financially weighing people’s lives, and there are cases where people’s personal dignity has been trampled. People don’t wanna pay for other people’s health issues. Oh you decided to smoke cigarettes now I have to pay for your lung cancer treatment or whatever. It’s a personal accountability thing I guess I’ve had America’s version of socialized healthcare– while serving in the US military. It’s abysmal, and if that’s any indication as to how this nation would run universal healthcare…please just don’t.
