Imagine if CEO’s and the Proud Mom Of A 2024 College Graduate T-Shirt moreover I love this board fired themselves first- They’re in charge, it is their decisions that lead to poor outcomes- Yet they fire the lowest paid workers. That’s awesome that he took accountability and resigned and told Nike to use his compensation to keep as many workers as they can. We need more people like this, honestly this brings back my ho…. What? Huh? Oh.. really? So he said he was gonna take accountability… And then fired people? Hmm… Nvm I started reading that and thought no way. Thankfully I kept reading to find out nothing has changed. Except oh yeah. Nothing. Maybe charging 300 dollars for a running shoe that hasn’t really had any advancement in tech for 20 years is the problem.

Proud Mom Of A 2024 College Graduate T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Sure everyone is wearing Nike’s because of the Proud Mom Of A 2024 College Graduate T-Shirt moreover I love this advertising and sponsorship budget, but the quality overall is pretty damn awful compared to some of the other competitors at the high end. This should actually be illegal. Companies should not be allowed to raise profits or make up for bad decisions by firing the people that had nothing to do with making those decisions. And when I say illegal I don’t mean a fine. While the article title is obvious clickbait and oniony, the actual quote isn’t. He’s saying the opposite of what’s implied by the title: “We are not currently performing at our best, and I ultimately hold myself and my leadership team accountable.” It’s amazing to me, based on price of goods, that any of these large companies could ever get to the point of having to lay off workers. I get how it works, but it’s a such a vicious cycle that we’ve seen over and over. I do hope history repeats, and these companies all start hiring back when they realize the cuts were too deep. Remember a few years ago when Michael Moore grilled the Nike CEO for not owning a plant in the US because “people in the US don’t want to do this job?” Then when Moore proved people would be happy to take the job he doubled down, said no and gave Moore a pair of Nike shoes to get him to go away? Has a base pay of $1.5 million and was given stock with a value in excess of $20 million BTW. Millions of $ in other forms of compensation as well. It’s possible he is entirely genuine. But this is a terrible look. Reminds me of Gavin Belson firing the Nucleus team, but this is real life, not a TV show parodying greedy CEOs.
