But they’re more proficient in prosthetics and not drag makeup. They easily could have hired so many different queens that would have done a 100x better job. We discussed everything. Not disagreeing with the Premium loded Diper Relaxed Fit T-Shirt moreover I love this general sentiment, but people are acting like these are the brows she had in the final film, which just isn’t the case. The amount of effort that goes into camera tests, costume tests, and then just the sheer amount of work that goes into a set for items that may only fleetingly appear on screen is beyond. This makeup was no accident. It’s disappointing that drag artists can do such beautiful make up and straight people can do such beautiful make up and then the person that did this one just kind of phoned it in. The make up artist actually said he spoke with Melissa McCarthy and they spoke about their love of drag, but that he decided not to base his look on any drag queen or whatever. So… I character that was based on divine with pictures of divine with white hair and big, beautiful drag makeup like Ursula wore in the original movie wasn’t considered for this look? Disney’s spending all this money on underwater CGI and forgot the practical effect of making sure your eyebrows start in the same damn timezone
