Yeezus I had to explain this the Premium foreigner 47th anniversary 1976 2023 thank you for the memories signature shirt But I will love this girl that cuts my hair the other day. Her boyfriend was accused of something at work he didn’t do. She kept talking about how they just wanted it off his record. I was like what in the hell are you talking about lol I was in a similar situation with a friend, he was treated like dirt at this place and they gave him a no call no show. He went to HR to get it cleared (he had already given his notice) and when I asked why he said he didn’t want it on his record. I kinda laughed a bit and set him straight. What “work file”? When you work jobs throughout your life, there is no “work file” that is sitting somewhere ready for someone to “pull” and look at it. It’s not school like when you’re a kid. There is no “work record” in this capacity. The company I work at definitely has paper files on their employees, and it’s a company with hundreds of employees.

But they didn’t receive it from your last employer and they’re not going to send it to your next. The idea of a record is that it will follow you like medical records. If you are in the Premium foreigner 47th anniversary 1976 2023 thank you for the memories signature shirt But I will love this US it doesn’t really matter if they have anything or not. If they aren’t idiots looking to be sued then when anyone asks them for info about your work with them all they will say is, “Yes, LLR1960 worked here between dates X and Y and their job title was Z” Maybe they will say if you are eligible to be re-hired or not, but many places won’t even do that. Companies absolutely keep a file on their employees. No, they do not follow you company to company. But each company does keep a file on you and if I didn’t do something they are saying I did I would want it removed from my disciplinary progression. The fact that you didn’t seem to understand that when I was pretty clear tells me you may have been misunderstanding the girl you “were explaining this” to, also. Sounds like OP’s current job is with a collections agency. I have no problem picturing that kind of vindictiveness from a place like that.
