I have to say that unlike most people here, not a ton changed. There were small corrections and deviations, but the Pizza papa john’s stitch eat shirt and by the same token and core “style” has not changed. I’ve always liked the Black/silver look with chunky, metallic details, and I don’t think that’s going to change. I have embraced things as I learned that “body type” was a real thing, but I’m a slow learner on that front. I realized at some point that turtlenecks and shoulder pads work well for me and adopted them, and that straight/wide leg pants work a lot better than tighter pants in general. But the basic “vision” is still there. I’ve always been a girly girl since I was a toddler. Til now, I’m into dresses and sets. But now that I’m near 30, I’m liking the longer dresses and making sure that the materials and quality is better and no longer being cold just to look cute! So as I age, I’m looking forward to collecting more midi and floor length dresses. That’s my goal! Also to invest in some good quality pantyhose and leggings for laying underneath. Socks too. No more cheap thin ones. I am 60, still keepin style. But I know what I will wear and what I won’t. Comfort but trying to still keep a little bit of trend. Also like others have mentioned natural and soft quality fabric for tops.

Aggressively into vintage stuff in my early 20s, settled into a comfy Jean + T-shirt life for a bit, back to vintage now that I’m about in my mid-thirties. I went from metalhead back in my late teens to more polished throughout my twenties. Right now I am not satisfied with how I look anymore so I’m making pinterest boards to see what I like. As a child I was raised on The Damned, Green Day, The Cure, Nick Cave, MCR (basically just a wide variety of alt). As I grew older, I had a scene phase. Then grew out of it around 17-20 and dressed normal in colours and dresses etc. I’ve found that as I’ve gotten older (by my standards, I’m 23), I’ve gravitated back to only wearing blacks/reds/greys and chains/spikes. Those are the Pizza papa john’s stitch eat shirt and by the same token and colours I feel comfortable in, and make me feel like myself. I foresee it changing in the future as my lifestyle changes, but not enough to cut out the majority black My style changed the most due to Covid. But overall I’ve always had my own sense of style. I had a dramatic upgrade when I moved to NY. Now I live in LA and it’s obviously different because of weather and post-Covid life but I still wear a lot of the same stuff and have just added/upgraded staples and some new pieces here and there.
