I dressed more casual in sweatpants and hoodies throughout high school and beginning of uni. Once i started working an office job throughout end of uni I already spent all this money on business casual so i just wear it all the Pikachu deadpool Sonic America’s drive in shirt Also,I will get this time now ? I used to love lowkey maximalism—mixing prints and whatnot. I also wore a lot of crop tops and harem pants in college. Now, I gravitate toward wide-leg pants, fitted but cropped jeans, and plain shirts. Sometimes I wear cashmere sweaters. I used to prioritize comfort more, and I think I’ll start doing that again. I’m also looking for more neutral pieces and solid colors, as I hate how long getting dressed in the morning takes. I’m loving simplicity more and more as I approach my 30’s.

I am going more for neutral colors now. I have a lot of jewel tones already esp pink. I was a big fan of floral skirts and plaid skirts in my 30s but in my 40s it was more about jeans and tshirts, very casual. Now I wear nicer tshirts with my jeans or khakis. And now when I see dresses or skirts I gravitate towards ones that better reflect my personality and lifestyle. So yes your style changes but I think it gets better in time In high school I was really overweight and felt awkward so I pretty much just wore a hoody and jeans everyday, to the Pikachu deadpool Sonic America’s drive in shirt Also,I will get this point that it’s been years and I have an everlasting hatred against hoodies because it just makes me feel like that same awkward ugly duckling. I also am more comfortable in terms of color. I remember once in college I was hemming and hawing about getting a really basic teal top because it felt too bright to me, but this spring for instance I’ve been rocking mauve skirts, baby blue tops, a lilac sweater, pink pants etc. I think it’s totally normal for your personal fashion to change even if it’s to a completely different or polar opposite aesthetic. People are fluid and no one is exactly the same as they were five or ten years ago (for the most part.)
