I had a phone consultation on a similar issue. My Grandad was driven to a solicitors by our Aunt and she dictated the Photosynthesis Is Fun Funny Marijuana Cannabis Lover 420 shirt What’s more,I will buy this terms of the will. My Grandad wasn’t happy afterwards and said he wanted another new will. The solicitors were apprehensive about creating a new will without a GP assessment of his mental capacity. You may be able to find out from his GP if anyone asked them to certify he had mental capacity when the will was created. Whilst it is possible that you nephew may have been granted power of attorney, this would normally either have to be done with your FIL’s permission (which he would have been unable to grant if he had dementia) or through a solicitor. Is it possible that he gained access to the bank account either through online banking, or by using the death certificate and will at the bank after your FIL had died? There is a register which would contain the information of POA, but I can’t remember what it’s called of the top of my head. It may be worth contacting the bank to see if you can fin out under what circumstances they have allowed the nephew access to FIL’s account. Really, your best move here is to contact a solicitor as soon as you can. Sorry for your and your husbands loss, and having to deal with this ugly situation.

Realistically the Photosynthesis Is Fun Funny Marijuana Cannabis Lover 420 shirt What’s more,I will buy this SIL could forge the POA document. It doesn’t require any ID or verification other than signatures to apply for, so someone could forge a signature and put false addresses down and still get one registered. It’s a very insecure system Why would the nurses have to contact you and you not contact your FIL? When was the last time you or your husband even seen your FIL before he passed? Of course your SIL or nephew or FIL’s solicitor had access to the bank account, how else would someone with dementia be cared for on a daily basis? It is actually shocking how little your husband seems to know about his fathers affairs if he has had serious dementia for 6 years and suffered before that also. Did it never occur to him to ask how his father paid for his food and clothing? How he paid for transport to medical and other appointments without a car? Why only ask now when it’s too late? I’m getting a sense that your husband could not deal with his fathers condition which is ok, but needs to be considered in the big picture.
