Being able to tap into social media anywhere and everywhere is a HUGE negative. The perception of social media is negative because people use social media to push a lot of negative shit or do horrible things to each other. People thought that automation developed 100+ years ago would destroy people’s lives. Today we can’t live without automation. Honestly with the size of the world, the lives that we live today and seeing how things are forecasting, we require social media tools to stay in contact easily. Like the blockchain, social media in and of itself is interesting and good technology. It’s how the tech is being used that is the problem. Like anything else that humans create: it’ll either improve our lives or fade into obscurity. No. I think it was just easier to pretend problems didn’t exist before social media forced everything into the open.
