Peak oprimised? Noway. And far from at launch. Yes its improved and runs well for most now but took awhile. Peak optimisation honestly is doom. Graphics usually progress more in that amount of time. It’s also old and has had tons of updates. Probably ran like shit when it was new too. Take off the rose-tints once in a while. I only have a 1080p monitor so theres no point running it any higher for me. I am also running it on a card that is marketed for 1080p gaming.

I finished entire game on my gtx 1060 6 GB, it looked gorgeous and run pretty well. And after this game I lost my engagement into AAA games, beside Elden Ring cuz I’m a souls fan. Who would have thought that 2019 game would run fine on GPU that would be considered high end back then? If you go back to 2019 RX 6600 XT would be 4-5th most powerfull gaming GPU (5-6th if you count RTX Titan). Yes, but the Anti-Aliasing was terrible in this game. This was the wirst game I ever notices how bad TAA can be. Ik it isn’t as I have dabbled in a couple unity projects of my own and have finished a total on none but these devs should not release an unfinished game. The only two negatives I have with RDR2 is that it should have a 60fps patch for next gen and online has just been abandoned when it has so much potential.
