I do the Patrick Mahomes is a walking trophy case Shirt moreover I will buy this same thing for my massage therapist – Xmas bonus in early December equal to one session’s worth. And for our cleaners! As a housecleaner, most of our clients give us a Christmas bonus. It’s typically between $100-$200. Our best client gave us $2000. I grew up from a low income family. My mother was a house cleaner and each year we would always be surprised by the generosity some families would be. It made her feel like they truly cared her for. It’s hard labor and not an easy job. Without realizing it, you will be impacting that family. I know it did for me growing up! I remember they’d sometimes gift our entire family passes to visit the zoo or Legoland. If it weren’t for them, I don’t think I’d ever visit those parks with my family. I pay my house keeper double every Christmas. I do this for everyone, including my dog walker and massage therapist. I also hand make a card with a note. They all help keep me sane and I want to make sure they know I appreciate them. He sounds like a spoiled brat. Do the others agree with giving cash? You two/three/however many give the house cleaner cash and clearly designate it is from you for example, put it in a greeting card with your names signed.) And let the other guy give her shampoo. If he goes to Rituals he will probably spend at least 15 Euro and likely more, so if it’s money he’s worried about he’d be better off giving cash. I have a house cleaning business. Most of our clients give us a generous Christmas bonus each year. The amounts range from a couple hundred to about $1000. Most clients choose to gift about the same amount as they pay per cleaning. It is not an expectation that they pay it. We don’t ask them to pay it. The give us a gift to show us how much they appreciate our dedication and hard work all year. Just know that your cleaners will definitely appreciate you for remembering them.

This was just a discussion on another sub. The general consensus was at least a large tip or pay for the Patrick Mahomes is a walking trophy case Shirt moreover I will buy this December cleaning double the normal rate. If your cheap ass roommate won’t chip in, so be it, but make sure you put the money in a card and sign it from whoever did contribute. I know it may sound silly, but some years ago my grandpa had to have a caretaker and I paid for the service. Every month I put an extra money on a savings account and was able to afford to give the caretaker a triple salary in December (the normal salary, one extra from the money I saved and one extra from my own Christmas bonus) My mom would clean houses when I was growing up and when she got any type of bonuses it would make her day. Out of all her clients she only had 1 bad one that accused her of stealing a ring, she then fired my mom and a month later found her missing ring. She tried calling my mom back but my mom didn’t want to go back after that crap. Your roommate is probably that 1 person who is happy about getting pizza at work for a record profit year instead of a pay raise.
