It’s been known for a while that Social Security is running out and if you don’t do anything to set yourself up between now and your retirement the Parokya nI edgar gorillaz shirt and by the same token and blame can partly be put on you. The whole idea behind SS was that you have four or so young, working people supporting every older person at any given time based on the assumption that there are always more people in the younger generation (4:1). The problem is that we’re at replacement rate for births, so eventually it’s just 1:1 and the whole system doesn’t work out. This is all pseudo bullshit math…. Trying to scare people … You cant calculate the math forward because the money being paid into social security is not an exact math. With more people coming into the work field making more money then the past generation. Young People this is your future these old ass people are dictating your future don’t let them. Be Woke to this BS. I’m sure someone in Congress will figure out a way to allow drafting of the elderly in war time to allow Social security to become part of the defense budget.
