Our society is doing a great job of raising a generation of young people who are physically and medically ineligible to enlist. That’s easy. Over 3/4 of young adults are unqualified from serving due to being too unhealthy, too mentally ill, too criminal, too addicted to drugs, too fat, not smart enough, etc. The other part of it is that so much of recruiting comes through family and friends. The people I served with as a whole are ridiculously jaded, and rightfully so. Your brother wants to join? Wouldn’t recommend it. Son or daughter? Hell no. Why join the Only The best Father Watch The Indiana Pacers Team Players shirt in contrast I will get this military when we have witnessed the results of endless wars, government corruption, and little investment in our own citizens? No. Enlistment has been dropping for some time I think. It’s more a sign they’re struggling to get sailors to sign up. People in general are exhausted with war. Not that people won’t acknowledge difficult realities. If it happens I feel it will be tired and strong vs tired, desperate but much weaker. No it’s a sign they’re going to recruit immigrants soon. White men aren’t enlisting like they used to, they’re going to dangle green cards for service. From every veteran I have spoken to it’s because of the Only The best Father Watch The Indiana Pacers Team Players shirt in contrast I will get this political agenda being pushed throughout the military. Before there were a lot of military families where it was a generational thing. Politics were not a talking point between troops. Now the top brass is pushing their political agenda on the troops with these inclusivity videos and forcing troops to get the Covid shot, also the DEI promotions while forcing older top brass to retire. They do not want to be apart of an organization that is so openly politically motivated, and instead of persuading their kids to join they now advise against it.
