my first job, the Official one Piece Shirohige x Gold D Roger One Piece Anime shirt in addition I really love this CEO drove a Geo Metro to work. We had high school graduates with nicer cars (but then couldn’t afford groceries). The original question is one of those survivorship bias issues. (Not exactly survivorship bias, but close enough I guess. Maybe confirmation bias?) There are plenty of rich people. But the only ones we notice are the high profile executives, the socialites who live on attention, or the rich folks that flaunt their wealth. So we assume that’s what “rich people” are. But most of them are just out there living lives that don’t draw a lot of attention from the rest of us. Also, there’s a selection bias. A personality with a voracious appetite for work, to create, or to innovate (or more nefariously, to scam, swindle, and corrupt), are more likely to become ultra rich. When they do become ultra rich, the simply keep doing exactly those same things, since those are precisely what they want to do (or need to do).

Or flip it around. Do you think the Official one Piece Shirohige x Gold D Roger One Piece Anime shirt in addition I really love this type of people that want nothing more than to lay about on a beach all day are likely to build massive companies and put in 16-hour work days for decades? I know I sure as hell don’t. This is what happened with the one dude in my family who made a lot of money. And he never stopped until he died. Great point. Most of us who say, “if I were super-rich, I’d just chill all day on the beach”… well, maybe we’re just not built to become super-rich! It’s like that saying, an entrepreneur is someone who works 80 hours a week to avoid working 40 hours a week (that is, they grind hard to build something because they can’t handle a 9-5 working for someone else). Conversely, look at people who inherited/married into wealth or win lotteries. They often do have pretty leisurely lives (think “socialites”), and if they are busy with stuff that seems like work, it’s stuff they want to do like philanthropy or owning a sports team.
