Sorry, considering the Official maneskin roma milano 20 07 2023 shirt moreover I will buy this meeting wasn’t marked as mandatory, I thought it’d be better to prioritize client requests rather than attend. Considering that our department can be required to quickly respond to incidents that can cause work stoppages for other employees, it’s a good idea for us to always have someone outside of meetings during working hours. While there were no issues during this meeting, it is a constant possibility. I would respond with something along the lines of monitoring for critical issues as the whole IT department being indisposed can lead to massive downtime. Was this actually during your lunch period during which time you are “not on the clock” and free to do whatever you want including leaving the building? If so, DO NOT apologise as you are entitled to skip the event. If it was “a critical priority”, they should have made it mandatory and scheduled it during working hours.

We’re not hourly and paid via salary. Technically it is a lunch hour and yes, they should have made it mandatory. Yeah but if your lunch hour pushes your day to 9 hours, it’s still your time. If not they should have been more clear. I’ve had this exact scenario a few times. Hit them back with the Official maneskin roma milano 20 07 2023 shirt moreover I will buy this same corporate doublespeak, let them know you can play. Dropped an example reply in the main thread, gl 🙂 Well if it happened on lunch and it wasnt mandatory im really confused with their audacity to even ask what you were doing that was more important. Eating! Nourishment was required to continue productivity. “I am worried to read that my abscense may have impacted the professional relations of the company. If you need to consult me, my hourly rate is ### outside of scheduled working hours. In the future, I expect you to be more proactive and handle business relations, such as this, more promptly”. I was staring at my hand and wondering just how far I could throw my workstation, your laptop… Really anything within arms reach. But in the future, schedule a server to shut down 2 minutes before the event start. Then spend the entire event to “fix” the server. If they want you to take your lunch time and train, they should be feeding you and paying you for that lunch hour — neither of which I’m certain they probably did.
