Seems more like a loser who’s trying to live his dreams through his child. Like all those obsessed parents who push their 4-year-old child to play hockey and argue with other dumbass parents about a kids’ game. Same thing for baseball and many other sports. Dancing and shit like that, too. I used to coach hockey specifically working with the Official i’m A Land Surveyor I Don’t Stop When I’m Tired I Stop When I’m Done Surveyor shirt Also,I will get this goalies, one kids dad was a prick, asking a 13 year old why he couldn’t do what I, the mid 20s coach with a lot more experience and physical development, could do during drills, it became very clear that kid had lost all interest in playing and on top of the obvious tells that he wasn’t having fun his performance showed it as well, he was not in it and didn’t really improve.

Ironic I had played men’s league with the Official i’m A Land Surveyor I Don’t Stop When I’m Tired I Stop When I’m Done Surveyor shirt Also,I will get this father at one point and I’m not just being a dick when I say he was one of the worst in the league. Want a kid to go far, be understanding and let them dictate their level of dedication, there was another young goalie I coached whose dad was the other coach running the goalie specific practices, at 10 this little bugger was keeping up with me on conditioning drills and I watched a group of 16-17 year olds go from taking it easy on him to trying to score because they couldn’t, kid was phenomenal and I credit a lot of that with the low stress he was under. Didn’t win, oh well what are we gonna do going forward? Not up for practice today, make that decision, stay on the ice or take a day off, if I saw his name on an NHL roster I would not be shocked.
