We reserved a luxury airbnb in Toronto for 31 days. (BTW we have good Airbnb ratings) This morning I received a phone call saying that there was a glitch in the Nobody is perfect but if you are an anni-frid lyngstad fan pretty damn close shirt Besides,I will do this system and that somehow the unit was double booked. Because they claim we were second to book, they said they have to honor the first booking and have offered a full refund plus an extra $500 for our trouble. They claim they didn’t notify us earlier because they were trying to find us something else. Here are the issues: We are still within the free cancellation period so they want us to do the cancellation. They said it’s the only way we can get a full refund. I might’ve read on this thread that they should do the cancellation, not us. But, I’ve read so many things on reddit, I might be wrong. Is this the way it’s done?

They wanted our bank info to wire us the Nobody is perfect but if you are an anni-frid lyngstad fan pretty damn close shirt Besides,I will do this $500. I wouldn’t give them our bank info and then they offered a gift card they could give us while we are there. We are not sure we can find another place as nice as this one on short notice (middle of July to mid August). They should absolutely do the cancellation, not you. Keep all communication in the app – no more phone calls. No payments should be processed outside the app. You will lose all protections from Airbnb if you do! It’s a tricky situation. I think they were lying to you. At least about their claim that you have to cancel to get a full refund. It’s a blatant lie. What else? They were double booked and have to honor first person who made a reservation? I think it’s a lie too. They would notify you immediately, speaking from experience.
