Because any form of discipline is now seen as child abuse. For some reason people think kids need to be free spirits unhindered by consequence. I think that what leads to the No Sleep Til Brooklyn Stars Vintage Sunset T-Shirt also I will do this pressure cooker situation like this where people explode is that teachers are expected to do the majority of the work of the teaching-learning process. The teacher-student dynamic at high school should instead be meeting each other half-way – the teacher agrees to prepare the lesson and teach the content as best they can, and the student agrees to participate fully in the lesson and put in effort to learn the content as best they can. But instead, these days, many students are extremely passive or resistant and the teacher has to push 30 students forward while many dig their heels in. And if they don’t pass because they didn’t make any effort to learn, then the teacher is blamed for it.

No Sleep Til Brooklyn Stars Vintage Sunset T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

I figure that anybody who has kids will sympathise with this teacher. While I haven’t actually vocalised these precise words out loud to my children, I’ve sure said variants of it in my head many times. The ability of small people to do absolutely anything but what they’re currently meant to be doing is unparalleled… We can all understand it. But it’s not appropriate behaviour. It’s a job. You’re paid to keep your shit together. I don’t care about the No Sleep Til Brooklyn Stars Vintage Sunset T-Shirt also I will do this swearing. I do care about the tone and the way he spoke to them. He could have delivered the same message calmly and without telling them they’re shit. I appreciate its bloody tough. It’s sad that teachers aren’t supported and given the tools and ongoing coaching to manage modern classrooms. Everyone is just too overworked and there isn’t the resource. That’s the failure here more than this one guy fucking up.
