was a consultant for the Nice bob Ross 80s Styled Aesthetic Fan Art T-Shirt and by the same token and past year and hated it. hated work travel, hated the product, wasn’t interested in the field (supply chain). i’ll miss some old coworkers though, and the office was pretty okay. it was a neat experiment straight outta college and paid kinda-decently, but i yearned to go back into software engineering. contacted my old manager from my internship and i got a final job offer! Got a job right after a 3 week internship without hassle. Job is chill but pays like crap in comparison to others in the same area. Still, better than having no job, and my colleagues are great I got a much better job than I had. Better pay and better benefits. I found it on LinkedIn but you had to apply on their site. Chances of getting call backs is greater if it’s not a “quick apply” job. I applied to 100s of jobs, it’s tough but you can do it!! Going into my senior year as a student. There was a career fair at school and everyone had way more qualified academic resumes than me. I didn’t even bring a resume not knowing the expectation. I went home and reached out and applied on the website of one of the more in demand companies for the hell of it and got an offer quite fast on my first try that I just started last week. Pay is more than I’ve ever gotten (not saying much from hourly jobs though) work culture is great, and my projects are worthwhile and interesting. I’ve made sure not to really mention it a ton since I know the difficulty some people have faced – but I gratefully had a very fortunate experience. My roommate even lives in the area and is letting me stay with them (a hcol area) saving me likely ~5K this summer. I’ve had a lot of financial debt stress and feel an enormous relief being able to pay a solid chunk down once my checks start coming in.

Not a job but I started my internship last week 🙂 I only applied to 4 and had an interview and offer within a month! Super stoked because I have no other internship experience and am going into senior year Went from driving across the Nice bob Ross 80s Styled Aesthetic Fan Art T-Shirt and by the same token and country every weekend for 2 and a half years to dispatching non-emergency medical transport drivers throughout my state. Been about 4 months and im finally getting it. Rough learning curve but im liking the job a hell of alot more than when I started. I like it when my drivers whine about having to drive long distances(within louisiana state limits, not a big state) like i dont get it or something. My last employer rolled out an RTO policy which only allowed executives and senior management to apply for exceptions. I lived 9 hours from the nearest office and was denied even applying for an exception. I quiet quit and had a new job in 3 weeks after studying and interviewing nonstop during working hours. The new job is fully remote and came with a 22% bump in pay and an extra week of vacation. I graduated comp sci in 2019 with that previous job already lined up, and they agreed to full remote when hiring me. I had advanced to senior developer by the time they were talking about RTO, and I had accumulated a lot of meaningful experience with C#/.NET, Spring Cloud and Spring Boot with Java, typescript and node.js, and aws (lambdas and node.js)
