I went to the Never Surrender Zach Bryan Play Guitar Mugshot T-Shirt and I love this Target in our college town yesterday, normally avoid it because I’m a grouchy millennial and college kids generally annoy me, with their youth and hope and whatnot. The line was epic and while waiting forever, I noticed that I was the only person wearing makeup. I seem to remember reading that genZ isn’t into it? Idk. But my sparkly eyelids and I gave zero f’s. My bestie NEVER wears makeup and I’m usually full faced when we go out, complete with winged eyeliner and colorful shadow. I usually dress nice, too, because I like to be fancy. Bestie is a jeans and tee person. I also give zero F’s about that. For me, it’s not at all about trying to impress people. I wear face powder to even out my skin tone because it makes me feel less-old, and I do my eyes because it’s fun. I’m often the fanciest person in the room, and don’t care at all. If YOU care, well, maybe tailor your look accordingly. But you def don’t have to, you can just embrace being the fancy friend.

Never Surrender Zach Bryan Play Guitar Mugshot T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

I totally am the Never Surrender Zach Bryan Play Guitar Mugshot T-Shirt and I love this fancy friend too haha. I really like the idea of just completely embracing it. Next time I meet my friends I do want to try a natural look, but the time after that, maybe I’ll wear more makeup than ever. No girl has ever shamed me for wearing makeup. If a girl shames you for wearing makeup, she’s doing it to feel better about herself. From an outside perspective, I think your confidence to wear make-up as a form of self-expression, to look the way you want to look, completely independent of what your friends are doing, is when you look/feel your best. As you said “comfortable in their skin” can be found whether you are bare faced or full on make up. You’re going to do what you want, whether it’s full on face or toned down, I just hope you’re doing it because you want to.
