The advice that sticks with me from my teacher training is “Always remember that you’re the My Little Brother Is Nicu Ninja T-Shirt moreover I will buy this only adult in the room.” Ultimately, it’s our responsibility as a teacher to navigate a responsible way through to at least the end of class when we can make our way to the toilet to quietly sob. Holy hell some kids are horrendous – patience of a saint. And the kids know you cant do jack shit really, so they keep pushing for a reaction hoping to get you to bite and react so they can video/complain etc At the start of year 13 it Dean had us in assembly first week. Said to us “If you’re not here to take this year seriously then just fuck off now.” Likewise this didn’t make the news. Also quite a few students were shipped out in the first few weeks. The key difference here is the intention behind the swearing – in the article, it’s clearly to belittle the students, in what your dean said, it was attempted motivation, albeit rather brutal.

My Little Brother Is Nicu Ninja T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

I’ve sworn in class a couple of times – not gonna lie, it slips out occasionally when something disastrous happens, and I have no trouble telling my students they’re being a pain. People should know when they’re irritating another through what is, usually, very deliberate behaviour, but again, intention and appropriateness are key. I can fully understand how this teacher got to where they did though. Sometimes it does feel like you’re teaching a brick wall. I think the My Little Brother Is Nicu Ninja T-Shirt moreover I will buy this intention was to get through to the recalcitrant little bastards because being nice was getting nowhere with them. I just heard from a friend in the area that the boy who filmed is a bully who causes all sorts of trouble. Nevertheless, Stuff should have been more responsible. Imagine how invincible the students feel against this teacher? It’s a hard enough job as it is.
