But if she doesn’t eat during the day, she will wake up overnight and scream and cry because she’s hungry, and she just wants milk. Imagine a 2 year old who still only drinks milk! She won’t get the nutrients she needs. But if she refuses to eat during the day because she wants to play, what can the parents do? I know that when I was younger I would wake my mom up at midnight-2am because I was hungry all the time because I also refused to eat- I just wanted to play all day. I joke that my niece and I have very similar personalities but it’s a common toddler problem.
