That’s the My Boy Might Not Always Swing But I Do So Watch Your Mouth T-Shirt also I will do this whole reason this thread exists. Somebody saying their culture is more ethnically founded to somebody else who’s asking the hard questions. This is the correct answer and it’s not unique to America. The majority naturally becomes the default everything else is compared against. To expand on that: other cultures are often defined by how they deviate from that default. So when some people look for “white culture”, they don’t come up with much because it often is the default. And they sometimes end up (erroneously) at the conclusion that it isn’t there. Well troll town in Wisconsin comes to mind and that sticks out a bit amongst white culture… idk maybe white people aren’t a monolith…

Another way I phrase that to people is that there is no white american culture. Everything white americans enjoy/participate in/etc. are things all americans do almost equally, or would if they had the My Boy Might Not Always Swing But I Do So Watch Your Mouth T-Shirt also I will do this same opportunity. And it’s not because white americans are “bad” or “suck”, it’s because non-racist white americans don’t generally think of themseleves like that. Non-racist White americans don’t get together and “vibe on the fact that they’re white”. And that makes sense because, if nothing else, the want to vibe on race alone is usually born out of oppression, which has never applied to white americans (racially). That’s also why conversly, if you absolutely had to nail down White American culture, it would probably consist of things like the KKK or whatever tf is going on with MAGA. This country was started less than 250 years ago by white immigrants who immediately became the top dogs in the area. Culture isn’t usually formed out of that equation.
