You ever heard of analysis paralysis? There is honestly no excuse for 7 months without a job. Your standards are just too high and you won’t accept those part time service jobs because they are beneath you. If you can’t find three openings you qualify for to apply, then you should expand your criteria, get some training, or down grade. Exactly ! If u have not applied to at least 100 job postings/ mth u are slacking. Also if u are location specific u r severely limiting yerself ! I disagree, more like 30. 3 a day was acceptable back in 2007 when a lot of information was re-entered. I can apply for 3 jobs during my lunch break. Things like outlook you can tick off as a skill if you used emails at you last job. The small things you did on a regular day you can add to your skills. Even if you only tick off 80% of a company’s requirements apply for a job. When I was looking for my current job I was doing an average of about 20 applications per week for about 6 weeks. So about 120 applications total. From there I got maybe about 6 interviews and 2 offers.
