i believe, but am not 100% sure, that the Move over let this old lady show you how to be a CNA vintage shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this united states requires businesses where “consumables” (e.g. food, drinks) are served to be consumed on the premises must serve water for free. This came about after there were several Ecstasy deaths and the cause was ultimately dehydration and overheating. Pretend every water and refill you got cost 8 bucks, add that to your tab and tip at least 20% and you’re golden. You can ask for a virgin version of a lot of drinks. A bar could in theory kick you out but the optics would be bad if you went to the media especially if you were the dd So many good tasting non-alcoholic beers exist now days and if a bar doesn’t have at least ‘Athletic Brewing Co’, they are a trash bar. My long-winded story: When I was a waitress, way back, we would have entire tables taken over by groups of girls who only ordered water, which was free. Of course they were looking for guys who would buy them drinks. Night after night these tables of girls would not catch the eyes of some guys and so they just sat and drank water for free. All night. At our weekly staff meetings it was the ongoing complaint from all of us waitresses. So management made the decision to start charging for water. It was a minimal amount. After about a month, we switched from charging for water to a “one drink minimum” policy. It wasn’t perfect, but worked better.

If you order food then nobody will complain. If you.are with friends who are drinking then that should be fine till. Also you.can order other non alcoholic drinks too. I dont know of a single.bar that also doesnt have a selection of sodas. i dont see why not… also, only tip what you feel reasonable. if the Move over let this old lady show you how to be a CNA vintage shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this bartender is pressuring you to buy something, or trying to get you to leave for not buying something; no tip he has no right to do either of those things Yes because bars don’t want DDs. If a bar has too many patrons getting DUIs it can cause them to lose their alcohol selling/serving license, so as long as you’re not being a nuisance it’s fine. Though I’d argue don’t sit at the bar if you’re not ordering anything and find a table or booth with your friends. You can order whatever you want, as long as you order something that costs money. So food + water, or some non-alcoholic cocktail/lemonade/juice and then water later.
