Maybe just take a bit of time and put together an indexed binder addressing alllll of your most random frequent questions? honestly, I would just reply “I personally have no idea, but (insert city name) has it all! I’m sure you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for with a little internet sleuthing!” Asking a host where to get a specific odd item is not normal unless it is some kind of “thing” that the Misfits Original Misfit shirt Furthermore, I will do this area is famous for. In other words, I think many people would think it is fine to treat the host as a resource in terms of personal recommendations of where to eat and what equivalent recommendations. As others have posted, that is inherent in the whole idea of Air BnB which is theoretically more “personal” than a hotel.

A concierge at a high end hotel would do more – i.e they get tickets; make reservations etc. However, I think many people might ask a check in clerk casually what restaurants are good in the Misfits Original Misfit shirt Furthermore, I will do this area. I can’t imagine asking a host to do any of those. If they have a guidebook, I’ll use it and usually bring it up in my review as a great addition to the space, and I’ve been to a few places hosts have recommended and loved them. Other than emergencies I don’t think I’ve ever asked a question. The emergency was the lights going out and so we asked if we could access the breaker box, and the host offered to come reset it or if we did it ourselves they’d give us a discount, which we didn’t expect at all. We thought it would be silly to make them drive over to reset the breaker but they said it was in a “scary cobwebbed basement” lol. I told them that was fine and we just did it.
