Idk man, I always felt like banksy is not as much a person as a useful tool for money laundering. An unknown artist that people pay stupid amount of money for his art just feels like the Miles Davis Performing In Nightclub American jazz musician T-Shirt and by the same token and thing the rich would use to avoid taxation There’s a difference between paying someone to spray paint something on your property for you and some assholes tagging your shit. Maybe this metaphor would work better: I pay good money for Rammstein albums but if you just go up to me and scream in my ear I will punch you in the face. Half the time it’s not even “authorized” it’s just the owners give up because if they paint over it it’ll be right back again within a week with something else. This whole “street art” fad is ridiculous, bunch of losers with no respect for anything can’t stand to have anything look clean. I’ve seen this posted like over a year ago now and people in the comments there said the wall was a public graffiti wall where everyone was allowed to tag over whatever was there…

Definitely frustrating, but actually super common (from what I’ve heard) in the Miles Davis Performing In Nightclub American jazz musician T-Shirt and by the same token and graffiti “industry”. In Miami, there is a place called “Wynwood Walls” with hundreds of graffiti walls & some of the locals mentioned that of you are commissioned to paint a mural, but aren’t showing respect to the local artists, then they frequently paint over your stuff. For example, they said Kanye commissioned someone to paint a wall & the local artists graffitied over it about 100x. Graffiti is kinda a temporary art, I think most know that their work may disappear in the next day, like a Minecraft anarchy server I think most should get hit in the head maybe if they bought a wall nobody would care but it cost well over five hundred dollars to paint over a wall that big Listen, Bill. I don’t care what law you think makes this your yard. I paid for the fence, so I’ll cross it whenever I damn we’ll please.
