Teach them to be better humans, then the world gradually improves through the generations. Basically what humans have been doing for millennia. We like to think the world of tomorrow is fucked because the problems of today. But you try to find a time period in history that was better than today.. people in the future will think the same about today. It’s completely fine to not want to have kids but I’ve always thought that the “world will be bad when they grow” thing was bad reasoning. You really have absolutely no idea how the word is going to be in 50 years. People were having kids during the Cold War when they weren’t even sure that a nuclear war wasn’t going to wipe out civilization. There’s reasons why the future might be bleak such as global warming but there’s also a lot of reason for optimism especially when you compare general living standards and HDI from a few decades ago until now.
