I’m not a vegan or into any animal violence movement but ever since I got 2 dogs all lives seems to matter to me. I even feel guilty when I try to tease or kill ants like how I did as a child I don’t really care if someone else does it but I’m not going to do it. I buy that shit dead and frozen at Costco. It doesn’t bother me because they don’t even have a nervous system much more advanced than an insect. Maybe put them in a freezer first if it helps you feel better. fresh seafood is important for health reasons so shipping dead shellfish is not very safe. plus crabs and lobsters don’t have pain receptors as far as i remember. in fact crabs rip off their own limbs and regrow them in the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2023 shirt but in fact I love this wild.

Yes it does. I’ve never eaten whole lobster or crab, I’ve had California rolls with bits of crab but I don’t understand any benefits to boiling them alive, like is it claimed it makes the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2023 shirt but in fact I love this meat less something and if so cope, idk, but even if you kill it moments before boiling it that’s way better than letting the heat kill them I love to eat them, so tasty. But the one time we cooked them ourselves, it did bother me to hear them screaming. I mean, if you want to get really bummed out look up “Dominion” the documentary. Some version of this happens in all meat, eggs, and dairy. I was born in Maine and grew up with being taught boiling live lobsters was fine, it was pretty ingrained, but with critical thinking skills, I learned this was not humane. The only times I eat lobster now is when I buy them myself and humanely kill them with a quick chef’s knife to the head just before boiling.
