This. School nurse almost killed my brother doing exactly that, got rushed to the Mickey Pew Pew Pew Steamboat Raygun shirt But I will love this hospital because he started vomiting blood. He had nosebleeds fairly regularly, but that had never happened. The doctors and nurses were all super confused until my brother tilted his head back while they were out of the room, they came back in and said not to. “But the nurse said…” She wasn’t reprimanded or anything but she left the position after that year. I’m suspicious as fuck of medical professionals in general, but also know enough to trust them in certain situations. This absolutely has a part in it. A girl pushed me off playground equipment in 4th grade and I went to the school nurse crying that my wrist hurt, so she slapped a rubber glove full of hot water on it and told me to go back to class. It was broken.

One of the Mickey Pew Pew Pew Steamboat Raygun shirt But I will love this big revelations I had as I became an adult was realizing that the other adults don’t know shit either and that we were all fooled as kids into the extent of the knowledge of the general adult. Not to say I didn’t learn from them, just that they really didn’t know as much as I’d assumed they did when I was a kid. I was in maybe 15 when i had pneumonia, i thought it was just a cold or something, apparently had it for about a week at this point, and i distincly remember i was sitting in french class and suddenly it hit me, like a brick i felt like i was dying, couldn’t breathe, couldnt see very well, it was all blurry, and my chest hurt. Toughed it out till the end of the class mainly because i was just scared and didnt know what was happening. Went to the nurse and she called me a liar, said i hurt myself playing sports/i was faking it to get out of class. She wouldn’t even let me call home, i had no cellphone yet, luckily another kid was there and let me use his. I called my mom, all while the nurse was screaming at me to put the phone down, phones arent allowed, stop faking it and get to class. Yeah i went straight to the er and found out it was pneumonia and my left lung was scarred to hell. Doc had no idea how I was walking around all week. I have no idea why it got so bad so fast. The only thing we all do know is that school nurse should be fired, maybe from her job, maybe from a cannon.
