Just imagine Lincoln freeing the Michael myers boogeyman friday the 13th halloween shirt also I will do this slaves in the South, only for the African Americans to be treated horribly racist to this day. It’s sad, but true. I worked in SK for a couple months as a process engineer at a large battery company. It was common for the engineers to make fun of people with bad haircuts and call them “North Koreans”. Quite frankly, I also regretted working in SK. I couldn’t keep up with the mandatory drinking and karaoke with the bosses after work. I think that anybody who picked up and moved to a country with a totally different culture would have similar issues. I’m American, but if I lived to S. Korea, I’d say a 20% that I regret my decision would be a reasonable estimate. Maybe even low. That’s just 20%. I know this will come as a shock, but many people I know who have immigrated to the USA from developed countries regret it too. The politics of the past 20 years hasn’t helped – it really is toxic and as a democracy we’re pretty f’ed up. And yes “go home” is an option, immigrants hear frequently from people who have rarely left their home state ! I’m seeing this as 4 in 5 N.Korean defectors feel they made the right choice in going to S.Korea? An 80% chance of not regretting it and having a better life? Not terrible odds. Maybe south is just as bad as north in other ways I dunno I don’t focus on the Koreans but that’s a bit too high of a number IMO seeing they escaped Hitler 2.5

What is the Michael myers boogeyman friday the 13th halloween shirt also I will do this punishment for defecting? I thought the north punished the families of defectors. Is that true? If yes, they may also feel guilty about leaving their family to suffer. i wonder what North Korea is actually like. I wonder if everything the west says about it is true. I hope it isn’t, for the peoples sake. This is something I hope SK can work on improving. NKs in SK have a hard time adapting, as anyone would. The government needs to step up and work on educating SKs about the difficulties and barriers NKs face, and find ways to support them successfully so everyone can benefit. 1 in 5 are still brainwashed by their upbringing to not be able to realise what they have available to them once they defect
