I would ask them how long they want the Michael Jason Myers Friday The 13th New England Patriots Halloween 2023 shirt moreover I will buy this trial period to be and how much pu would be paid if they want you to be in that position permanently. Then, if you want it, I would tell them you would do it if they put that in writing, and during that interim period, they pay you at least 75% of that difference. I would also have them include specific goals they want you to accomplish during that time period in order for you to be hired for that position permanently. Additionally, I would ask them to make it clear and in writing that the responsibilities of this new position would not be in addition to your current responsibilities, even during the temporary period. Finally, I would recommend that you have them put in writing that if they decide not to hire you permanently, you will be returned back to your original position.

This is somewhat normal. If your employer is cool they’ll abide by it. If not, they’ll make this last months and months. I wouldn’t accept the Michael Jason Myers Friday The 13th New England Patriots Halloween 2023 shirt moreover I will buy this offer without the title and pay raise immediately! I have never seen a “we will give you the title/pay raise later” actually work out in the workers favor. In fact every story I’ve heard were this is the case the worker gets screwed over. My response would be “I don’t want to take on responsibility that isn’t strictly defined in a job description, that puts me in way to much of a legal grey zone. I’m also not seeing the incentive to take on the extra responsibility if I’m not being adequately paid for it. For these reasons I will not take on the managerial roll without the title and pay raise upon starting those responsibilities.” Take the opportunity. Ask for management/leadership training. If they don’t have internal training, HR should have external resources and management should have budget for that sort of thing. Then start interviewing for one level above your existing title. In my experience, they won’t give you the title and raise unless they think they have to and that’ll will happen when they have to counter another offer.
