It’s just cartilage!” As if we know cartilage to NOT be painful when damaged (because it’s very painful, much moreso than like an earlobe) I’ve seen an ant writhe in pain…or at least do a very good imitation. I’m not willing to assume it wasn’t pain without solid, 100% proof that it’s not.
